WQXR has chosen nine finalists for their Classical Comedy Contest, scheduled to take place at Carolines on Broadway as part of the New York Comedy Festival on November 8th. To see who the finalists are, click here!

Charles Hamlen of IMG Artists (classical music management company)

The Roastmaster General, Jeffrey Ross, has been tapped to host the New York Comedy Festivals’ “Comics to Watch” showcase, presented by Pandora Internet Radio, on Wednesday, November 9th at Carolines on Broadway.

COMEDY CENTRAL, the preeminent brand in comedy, is teaming up with the New York Comedy Festival, to produce ‘Comics To Watch,’ a live show featuring the best up-and-coming young comedians from across the country.  The comedians, selected by the all-comedy network and the festival organizers, will be chosen for their unique strengths including writing, delivery and stage persona.
