The NY Post spoke to Caroline Hirsch and some of this year’s comedians about the lineup of the 2012 New York Comedy Festival and what it takes to be in comedy.

The lineup for the 2012 New York Comedy Festival has been announced. Variety’s rundown of the 5-day event from November 7 – 11 includes Jim Gaffigan, Rob Delaney, Artie Lange, Patton Oswalt and Marlon and Shawn Wayans. Tickets for the festival will go on sale Monday, August 13th, with a limited number of pre-sale tickets available beforehand.

The New York Times today spotlighted the announcement of the 2012 New York Comedy Festival lineup. Great talents like Kevin Hart, Bill Maher, Aziz Ansari, Robin Williams, and more will perform from November 7 – 11.
